Negroni(ish)

Our herbaceous, less sweet take on a typical Negroni.

INGREDIENTS
3 ounces of The Saskatoon
1 bars poon of juniper simple syrup (or to taste)

    STEPS

    Stir and strain. Serve in a chilled coupe or over a large block of ice with an orange rind. If you aren’t averse to a hint of alcohol, use an atomizer to mist sweet vermouth or Campari over the surface of the drink.


    *Juniper simple syrup
    ½ cup water
    ½ cup sugar
    2T juniper berries (if foraged, know your species! Not all juniper is safe to ingest)

      Bring to a boil, simmer, then steep in the fridge overnight before straining. Keeps a month or more in the fridge.
